Oh, that is familiar. Nobody friggin' believes you/you're just too sensitive/you're overreacting/you're not open-minded enough about a given idea that might help if you just gave it a chance, ugh! Been there. I'm not much impressed with Geordie's parents, especially that immediate denial of the flickering possibility. I detect a hint of 'our kid is sick and we have to fiiiiix him and then he won't be a freak, stomp stomp!' there. Or maybe I'm reading too much into it.

Thank goodness for Ansel, for Geordie having a fairly good-sized clue about his own needs, unclear though some of them may be, and for that SPOON flickering support line. And bless that attendant with the folding screen and the 'it's not big deal' reaction. :)

I'm frankly hoping Geordie's ability(s) eventually stay on. I bet he is an earth elemental, with that affinity for caves and green space he's got.
