I agree. That particular one reminded me of the lip-drip technique in ceramics. You lay down a solid glaze and let it dry. Then you dip the lip of a mug, bowl, etc. in a different color, flip it, and let it run.
The most I do with fluid art is when I'm making something like ice cream, to add swirls of a different flavor. But I saw one of my characters doing it in fudge, which I think would hold a pattern really well. I'm half-tempted to try it myself, nobody in this world seems to be doing it.
