Today I took some pictures around the yard.  These are from the house yard and south lot.


The barrel garden is full of flowers.




This closeup shows more of the flowers in the barrel.




I planted 'Poquito' orange anise hyssop at the base of the barrel garden.




I'm hoping the orange flowers of the anise hyssop will appeal to hummingbirds.




This is Iris Aureovariegata yellow.




I love plants with variegated leaves. These look painted!




In the front is 'Firefly Red Pop' yarrow, in the back is the anise hyssop.




The yarrow flowers are a bright red."\




This is coreopsis 'Permathread Red Satin' beside the barrel garden.




This is the east end of the new picnic table.  Yesterday's project was assembling all those trough pots on the benches.  Today I also filled the last 3 of the large fluted pots.




The south side of the picnic table now has a row of large pots on the ground along the bench.




This is the west end of the new picnic table.




This is the north side of the new picnic table.




This wild strawberry has green fruit.




Many of the wild strawberries in the strawberry towers are perking up. A few look like they're dying, which is no surprise.




This fruit is turning pink.
