Today is cloudy, blustery, and wet.  It rained a little earlier, and it rained off and on last night too.

I fed the birds.  I've seen a flock of sparrows, a flock of mourning doves, a pair of house finches, two starlings, a brown-headed cowbird, a dark-eyed junco, and a fox squirrel.

I may have a third bluebell coming up in the forest garden.  :D

Also from yesterday, I forgot to mention that a couple of trilliums are sprouting in the streetside yard, one with a flower bud.

I had a big flock of mourning doves today, 9 or 10 of them.

Congratulations on your trilliums! They are tricky plants. I grew up with them in Oregon. I didn’t know they are a thing out here.

The red trillium is pretty. :)

T. ovatum & T. albidum are also found in the pacific northwest, and there are some other species that are less common, or that grow in the southern oregon/ northern california region, but not in the upper half of the state.

If you are hunting pnw plants, these are a useful resources:

I like calflora, too, but it is definitely california-centric so that’s where it’s amazing. Unfortunately the range maps generally don’t carry north of the state border. However if you use the “what grows here” function you can information for some oregon species. It’s hit or miss.
