Briefly: Fund blog posts (they can be product-supportive!), poems, or e-books, starting as low as $5 for a "bloggy" post, limerick, or pre-written "sciency" post on a topic that interested me enough that I went ahead and wrote it.
Fund hand knits...I've not even been trying to upload new photos of knitted products, although I've knitted some new ones. You can, however, order unique non-clothing items by specifying a size and color, including the Window Insulator Curtains that will save hundreds of dollars over the years to come.
Or order your American Butterflies 2024 Daybook PDF for $10...or fund the American Butterflies 2024 ALMANAC for $300. I don't know whether people will fund the Almanac but, if they do, it will be good...fact-packed and fun to read, with space in the PDF for readers to use it as a day minder. Like Poor Richard's Almanacks, only with color photos.
There's also a link to my Zazzle store. I receive no profits from that. It's in aid of USPIRG.
Blessed be you and Scalzi for doing this, and reminding the rest of us to do it. One year it will actually pay!
