These pictures are mostly from the savanna and house yard, plus a few indoors. See the house yard and south lot.
The Colorado blue spruce is doing better in winter than in summer.

These oak seedlings have a fresh blanket of leaves.

The daffodil bed is now clear of leaves. That's what I put around the oak seedlings. Already the daffodils are taller than yesterday when I raked off the bed!

Maple buds are just starting to swell.

Several mourning doves perch in a walnut tree.

A male house finch perches in the forest garden, visible as a pink dot low in the middle of the picture.

This is my new fossil rock.

Here is a closeup of the fossils. They may be a fan-feeding animal, or leaves.

My Christmas cactus is blooming.

Here is a wide view of the sunset looking west from the driveway.

The clouds made interesting shapes.

The crescent moon rises over the trees.
