"Kittens, Cocoa, and Cuddles"

Nothing says fall like
the smell of hot chocolate
and turning the pages of
a new book so that they
rustle like dry leaves.
Nothing says comfort
like cuddling a kitten
the color of cocoa.
Everything is warm
and brown and beautiful,
coffee-color and sand,
camel and chocolate.
Come sit down on
the community couch
with its grass-green velvet,
put your cup on the maple table,
listen to the folk music going by,
and relax into the earth tones.
