My series "Love Is For Children" has built up quite a following. Sometimes people cite favorite scenes they would like to see illustrated. So if anyone is thinking about making fanart, here are some possibilities...
* Bruce and Natka under the coffee table in "Love Is for Children" Part 5. Artwork by Ari the Dodecahedron. Artwork by Athena4405.
* Tony climbing the shelves, Steve, peeling Tony off the shelves, or Steve carrying Tony in "Love Is for Children" Part 7.
* The team smooshed into the couch, telling Natka that love can make things real in "Love Is for Children" Part 9.
* Steve crying on Phil's shoulder in "Love Is for Children" Part 12.
* The old Polaroid of Tony as a young child dressed in blue pajamas decorated with tape to resemble a Captain America uniform in "Hairpins" Part 10.
* From "Hairpins," not a literal story image, but a lovely allegorical one suggested by an anonymous reader:
"I've an odd image, more visual inspired by Phil's internal word choice during his revelation. Phil looking shocked, with a steel grey background, and all about him falling, are bits of brass and gold, coin shaped, perhaps with the grit of the side showing as a few spin during descent, but the faces and tails of these coins aren't mundane. Rather snapshots of each and every experience he had with Jarvis, the spirit of the conversations/interaction shown upon that space...."
* Phil helping Bruce change clothes in "Hairpins" Part 30.
* Loki cuddling the book in "Am I Not?" Part 5.
* The rubberband fight between Tony and Clint in "Eggshells" Part 3.
* The team standing in front of the display case with the eggs (maybe right after Tony whacked it) in "Eggshells" Part 6.
* Phil and Steve playing with babydolls in Part 10, then Tony and Betty taking apart Talking Barbie in Part 11 of "Dolls and Guys."
* Clint and Natka playing with the train wreck in "Dolls and Guys" Part 12.
* Hulk beating the abusive husband of a child bride in "Saudades" Part 3.
* Bruce saving the matador while the wary bull watches in "Querencia."
* On a more allegorical note, Hulk's impression of Bruce's heart inside their shared headspace, in "Querencia."
* Bruce bringing hot chocolate to Phil in "Turnabout Is Fair Play" Part 4.
* Tony making shadow puppets for Phil in "Turnabout Is Fair Play" Part 6.
* Clint freaking out with Tony and Bruce behind him in "Touching Moments" Part 1.
* Tony showing Steve how to use the holograms in "Touching Moments" Part 7 and Part 8.
* Hulk pushing Natka away on the rubber ducky in "Splash" Part 4.
* The team washing Hulk in "Splash" Part 5.
* Sock!Clint in "Splash" Part 6. As an outtake based on this amusing sock imagery, now I'm imagining Hulk sitting next to a giant pile of all different socks. With a ferret in a red-and-gold sweater sitting on top of the socks.
* Phil tracing Bruce's scars in "Coming Around" Part 1.
* Hulk offering Black Widow the birthday balloon in "Birthday Girl" Part 2.
fannishliss has also illustrated this with action figures.
* Everyone playing Pin the Blame on the Bad Guy in "Birthday Girl" Part 11 and Part 12.
helgatwb has made fanart of the target pages.

* Captain America and Black Widow holding the Winter Soldier in "No Winter Lasts Forever" Part 2.

* Bruce using yoga to soothe Phil in "Hide and Seek" Part 11 and Part 12.

* Tony sitting in front of the oven in "Hide and Seek" Part 55.
* Bucky carrying Tony while they put dishes away after making pie in "Hide and Seek" Part 55, illustrated by Fredcstark.
* Happy lifting Tony out of the broken coffee table in "Happy Hour" Part 2.

* Based on discussion under "Little and Broken, but Still Good," Nick Fury with his new eyepatch and a monkey on his back whispering evil things to him, with Phil Coulson trying to reach out to him and wondering why Nick won't respond anymore. It's a response to my description of why Nick stopped trusting even Phil.
* Flip piled in with Clint, Natka, and Bruce as Uncle Buck watches over them in "Up the Water Spout" Part 18.
* Fanny pictures of all the Avengers wearing yoga pants ... and Clint bent over a washtub, still trying to dye his: "$#!@ things don't come in purple!" Slightly expanded riff on the yoga pants visuals from "Anahata."
* Bruce freerunning around Steve and Bucky in "Coming in from the Cold: Saturday: Building Towers" Part 1.
* Bucky hugging Steve just to hear him breathing freely in "Coming in from the Cold: Saturday: Building Towers" Part 1.

gingicat found a picture on Tumblr of Peggy telling a young Tony stories about Captain America. That's canon for this series; she's one of the early influences that helped keep Tony as functional as he is.

Re: Fanart
Date: 2015-07-06 11:03 pm (UTC)I think it's great that you're using fanart to practice! That's what I do with fanfic too. You did a wonderful job with their jammies -- Nakta's multicolored bears are adorable, and Bruce really does blend into background with his brown plaid. :D

Date: 2015-12-06 10:11 am (UTC)Yaaayyyy! :D I have linked these through AO3 and also the DW art page.
>>it wouldn't let me have it inspired by the whole series so I put it under the first story<<
That's okay.
>> despite the fact hopefully I will have more for other stories as well.<<
Maybe if you put them one page at a time, AO3 will let you link them to the specific story or story part?
>>I hope you like it, its not fantastic and my camera is iffy at best.<<
I do! Try to resist the temptation to put down your own work. It's always a delight when someone draws inspiration from what I write, regardless of the quality; it's always a good thing to practice art that you enjoy. And it is actually charming -- you have captured the mood of the scenes quite clearly, and that's the most important part of illustration.
